ANNE-MARIE FANIEL
Anne-Marie Faniel, born in Montreal, studied at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, initially dedicated to the viola under the direction of Mr. Robert Verebes, before devoting herself definitively to classical singing, under the tutelage of Mr. André Turp, eminent Canadian tenor. This talented soprano has illuminated many oratorios over the years, among them Mozart’s Requiem, the Stabat Mater and the Pietà Signore. Her repertoire also extends to captivating concerts of the greatest arias from Italian, French and German operas, as well as operas and operettas such as Carmen, La Belle de Cadix, La Comtesse Maritza and Roméo et Juliette.
Faniel has three albums to her credit: “Noël Angélique”, “Reconnaissance” and “Vincerò”. The success of her recording career began with “Noël Angélique”, followed by the creation of the collection of French melodies “Reconnaissance” in a collaboration with Frank Fernandez and Perez Mesa. The album “Vincerò”, the fruit of her collaboration with Marc Provençal, marked a contemporary exploration of her lyrical voice with powerful and unique songs.
In parallel, Anne-Marie Faniel excels as a multidisciplinary artist and businesswoman: creator of Faniel artistic frames, an atypical collection now sold throughout the world. This artist proudly carries the artistic heritage of her grandfather who was a painter for the Belgian court: Alfred Faniel.
The urgency to live fully, passionately and freely is the characteristic that emerges from all of Anne-Marie Faniel’s artistic and musical creations.

RECONNAISSANCE
Reconnaissance is an album of French melodies from the end of the 19th century with ardent love poetry. An opus once again imbued with love, romanticism, exceptional clarity and sensitivity.
Anne-Marie’s fame extends beyond borders, notably when she is invited by the famous Cuban pianist and composer Frank Fernandez, alongside Maestro Perez Mesa, conductor of the Cuban National Orchestra. Together, they created the collection of French melodies entitled “Reconnaissance”, followed by intoxicating performances in Cuba and Quebec.
